Founded in 2003, Frontier Research has built a reputation in providing an independent and often contrarian outlook on exchange rate, interest rate movements and equity market and the analysis of key sectors such as the banking sector.
At Frontier, you can,
• Try different roles before settling in at one
• Have early exposure to work, traditionally experienced by much more senior members in other corporates, such as presenting to high level management of top conglomerates, based on your work performance
• Have the choice of working from home for most of the week (which is how we operated over many years, even before the Covid pandemic!)
Do you,
• Keep an eye for attention to detail
• Focus on getting it right the first time (i.e., less likely to make careless mistakes)
• Deliver work in a timely and self-reliable manner
• Have an inbuilt curiosity to search for answers and question traditional economic theory
• Want to continuously learn and adapt
Unfortunately, we are NOT looking for someone who is the below (strictly no offense on this!)
• Loves to write very long research papers and reference economic theory all the time
• Would be embarrassed to be part of a firm that is proud to say, we make our research simple and “economics your grandma can understand”, or what we call “time efficient research”
• Wants to be closely supervised and requires word-to-word directions
• Wants an internship of less than nine months.
